Numbness and Itching After Top Surgery
FTM; I got top surgery in April 2020 and I'm still mostly numb around the scars, which is fine except that they still itch sometimes. I can scratch them all I want but I can't feel the scratching, just the itchiness. I usually just try to rub it away so that I don't hurt myself scratching too much, but has anyone else experienced this/have any remedies?

I had my top surgery last April as well and am dealing with this currently. Not sure how to stop it but I’ve noticed in the last couple of weeks that I have small places like less that an inch start to feel again but not fully. It’s a weird sensation but I hope all feeling comes back eventuallt

It could be nerve damage, which can take a long time to heal

haven’t had top yet but pretty well versed in med stuff and it sounds like everything healing and reconnecting fully
possibly could numb any itching with ice
