Exploring Non-Medication Treatment Options

Other than medications, are there other treatments that might help me?

I’ve found some success with mindfulness meditation. Lots of apps out there to help start, but I would avoid anything costly. Journaling also helped me, even if only to reflect on how far I’ve come.

Which disorder do you have? I have Seasonal Affective Disorder, which has a relatively unique pathology. If you also have SAD (as it would appear you do based on your medicines - i imagine you take Wellbutrin in the winter and Abilify in the summer?), light therapy works really well for the depressive season, with a single dose of light therapy being equivalent to half a dose of Wellbutrin. However, light therapy only works if you do it at sunrise and/or sunset - 30 minutes per session, try to center it around either sunrise or sunset
