Exploring Non-Medicalized Views of Multiplicity and Plurality

just a random thought on my mind, do any other systems diagnosed with DID/OSDD/etc prefer to view their multiplicity/plurality through a non-medicalized lens? we were dx. in a psych hospital, but because of many of our experiences feel like more than just disordered. we see our system as a mix of spiritual influences but also trauma based. it's helped us accepting everything about us, and im wondering if anyone else is similar ☺️

Well i have a more advanced case so I somewhat know what u mean but for me it's not necessary spiritual but it's definitely more than what ppl would view it as which is just a disorder but most ppl don't even believe in us so I don't tell many ppl

Yes! It helps me to see it as a state of being and not just a disorder. Working toward being a functional system rather than trying to "fix" it.
