Journaling and DBT. Also reading books on the disorder helped me so so much. (Though be careful and do some research, some books will straight up go off bashing bpd folks/about how hard we are and itโ€™s just not fun to read at all.) Also of course talking to people who understand ๐Ÿ’

Have never taken meds, my mother insisted that with my diagnosis would come no medication because she wanted me to "learn to control myself". The best thing I do when I'm feeling really upset is also writing things down. Separating what is real versus how I'm making myself perceive the situation. Writing out my frustrations so I can read them back to myself and understand for myself what's triggering me and causing me to lash out or react the way that I am. If you're not in DBT or CBT, I would find someone you trust that's patient and kind to try and even walk you through your range of emotions or the situation you're currently trapped in
