Looking for others with non-epileptic seizures

I know this is likely just a shout into the void but... can someone- anyone with nonepileptic seizures reach out or comment..? I found out via and EEG that my seizure fits aren't epileptic, but I'm now trying to gather as much data as I can. from what conditions it could be that's been plaguing me for years, to symptoms I have that could be linked to it, I'm writing down AS MUCH AS I CAN for my meeting with the neurologists PA in a month and a half... but I need help me there's only so much I can do on my own

Your answer

hi! i have FND and non epileptic attack disorder, basically when my ptsd is triggered (which is often lol) i have quite serious seizures, there’s no meds i can take other than antidepressants for it but my citalopram and making sure to prioritise rest and cut out things/people that stress me out have seemed to help for now! still very early on in my journey, wishing you all the very best on yours!

Hey there! I have what are called Stressed induced sezuires. The are non-epleptic sezuires I've been dealing with most my life. I personally use cannabis for all my mental and medical and its done wonders. But I know everyone is different

I actually just got approved for cannabis treatment for it!! I'm hoping to start the next time I get paid!! I've smoked before and it did help a lot

I also found out by eeg that mine are non epileptic, I still have them and they get worse due to smoking cannabis. I don't know what they are and the ER told me they think they're pnes but I'll hopefully find out in January from my first neurology appointment.

yeah I'm now diagnosed with FND... Though they didn't really look in any other direction so like... That's not very encouraging

i struggled with these as well until i found the right medication to reduce my SEVERE anxiety (after over 15 years of trying) now, i still struggle with neurological symptoms when under stress (such as ticing, loss of balance, clamping down on my tongue, or experiencing a nearly locked jaw) but my last seizure was in late January of this year :) right before i started the meds. i have absolutely no idea if me saying any of this helps at all, but figured i'd give it a shot
