No Period for Years, Doctor Says Nothing is Wrong

Haven't had a period since sophomore year of high school. My doctor has told me it was my weight. So I worked on losing 40 pounds and my period didn't come back. Then gained some back and saw like one drop of blood since. I've had ulcers on my uterus and cysts discovered on my ovaries. Doctor still thinks nothing is wrong. I'm 20 now and have grown a fear of going back to any doctor.

Don’t let fear take control of you. PLEASE! It always turns out better than what you imagine anyways. I have PCOS which is cyst on the ovaries and I was diagnosed at 14 years old and I always have a period but they’re irregular sometimes they last 2 weeks or months. Changing your diet can help and also for some people birth control helps regulate or start periods.. also ask your doctor about metformin it also helps shrink the cyst it shrunk the cyst for me. It’s normally used for diabetics .. I wasn’t having a period much at all until I started birth control at 14. I don’t need the birth control now though I’m 26 I have regular periods for the most part. But don’t be afraid get checked out! If you need someone to help you get through the fear my inbox is always open ❤️
