My physiatrist gave me Effexor XR to help me out with all of it. Once you get into a good routine of taking the meds at the same time everyday (typically morning or else terrible sleep) I was able to sleep at night again. Once we got the dose right

Same here I had a rough go with prazosin! It made my insomnia worse, and when I did sleep, the nightmares didn’t improve

Omg my old doctor put me on that for my chronic nightmares and it made me lucid dream soooo hard I ran out of my bed pissing myself. Not kidding. Definitely would never touch that medicine again for me. Lucid dreams with PTSD is haunting. Dont know why the hell that medicine is so commonly recommended for it.

Prazosin didn't help me at all with the night terrors. It just gave me brain zaps and that was it. I stuck it out for three months and the brain zaps just got worse, nightmares got no better. 😥

Hello I do not take prazosin for nightmares I take remeron and it's helped alot...for remeron you need to find the exact/right dose or it can make nightmares worse...I hope this helps

Me 🤙 I'm not sure what else I can do to stop them tbh. They're nightly and increasing my prazosin dose hasn't helped
