Nightmares from Forgetting Medication

Every time I forget to take my medication I have horrible nightmares all night. Last night I had one of those.

From my experience certain types of medication are designed as both anti-depressant and mood stabilization. And then there are some drugs that are designed solely for sleep. I knew someone else who took pros in as a sleep medication, and they reported the same experience. Frankly, that medication was designed for anxiety, not sleep. I realize that some doctors use it for that, before trying things like Lunesta.

I know it sounds weird but dream catchers stuffed animals and putting painted rocks in the corners of your room will help keep nightmares away

I take 15mg of Prazosin to keep the nightmares away. I still have them, but not all night every night like I've had most of my life.
