I have had depression since 2003 and IBS since 2009. Both are very hard to deal with. I am on antidepressants and I do find they help. I am also on tablets for my IBS which I take 20 minutes before I eat 3 times a day. They help as well a bit, but I do still suffer a lot with pain. I would recommend keeping a food diary and noting what foods cause you more pain. That way you can try and limit them foods are cut them out if you can. It can be hard when it's food you love, you just have to weigh up if it's worth the pain to eat it. Good luck
