It's going well now. When I was diagnosed, I had an a1c of 11.9 and now it's 5.6. I think it's mostly because of my low carb diet. It really works. How about you?

I just forced myself to test out 2 weeks ago but I have been feeling it for many years. and now I regret it because I'm type 1, my highest was 15. mmol and I can't seem to get it under 8 now, I love food and enjoy different things and I can't stop and change, the last few days I feel sick, tired or headache, I'm hard headed but and I can't manage

You'll be just fine. I've been T1 for over 50 yrs now and have no complications. Exercise, responibility and doing the right thing. Looks like they'll have a Stem cell transplant system that will eliminate the need for injections within 10+ yrs.
