Hi, everyone! I’m new here and have a question. What have you found to be most effective for your condition(s)?

Knowing I'm not alone. Also deep breathing, light exercise, playing words games on my phone. Anything to redirect my thoughts pattern

For my mental health issues, taking Zoloft has helped with both anxiety and depression. Quick (3 minute) meditations help me if I start to dip down now too

Medication, therapy, and learning when to use different coping skills effectively. I feel like I’ve known how to do coping skills but not until the past couple months have I really learned when to start doing them during the day. It’s also been helpful to do exposure therapy for things such as driving which I struggle with. Also being very honest with yourself and your therapist. Take notes of your thoughts during the week so therapy is more beneficial. Try to find someone who can relate to what you’re going through and try to find ways to interact with others even if it’s just a short conversation with a cashier at the store. 😌
