Hiii! I am new here and just received my first inhaler. I have never had breathing issues up until these last few years, I always played down my symptoms as “anxiety” until one day a doctor actually took me seriously. I’m here now and wanting to connect with anyone who understands.

      I understand my doctors dont take me serious either i have trouble exhaling i can't get enough air out and its a struggle to breathe but they do nothing about it and brushes me off

      I have asthma and there are alot of new medicines out there to keep it under control.

      I literally wheezed until I passed out in the middle of gym class when I was in high school and I still didn't get a diagnosis until I was 20, and that was only because it got so bad I needed 48 minutes of critical care in a trauma bay when I was taken to the ER. I got an inhaler and a "stern" lecture from my favorite nurse for not saying anything sooner, and a month later I was diagnosed with asthma and COPD
