Follow @celiacdietitian on Instagram for celiac safety tips. Focus on restoring your health and nourishing your body. Learn how to read labels and do it for everything because gluten can be so sneaky. Only eat gluten free oats because they're usually grown and processed with gluten-containing grains. Give yourself grace when you make mistakes. We all do. Dm me if you want product recommendations. I've had celiac since I was 2!

Other amazing GF accounts to follow: gluten.free.nutritionist, the_celiac_space, and beyondgluten_celiac_dietitian. I also recommend downloading the Spoonful app. You can scan food barcodes and get quick feedback on if the item is safe to consume. It has been a lifesaver.

Be kind to yourself! You’re learning something new, take it step by step and forgive mistakes. Soon the gluten free stuff will be easy and you’ll be great at catching stuff on food labels! Take a look at some websites and learn as much as you can, but don’t be hard on yourself. Good luck on this journey!
