New to Bipolar Meds, Looking for Support

I take 800mg tegretol and 40 antidepressant, use remeron for deep sleep but cut in half or you won't wake to go pee so 7.5 mg

Hi! I'm still on a medication journey too. It's really hard to find something that works. The one that has worked best so far for me is Latuda.

I’ve been taking meds since I was 5 and here’s what I have to say. It’ll take a ton of time and failed attempts to find the right meds but it’ll be worth it in the end

With bipolar ii and cyclothymic symptoms, the best medication combination I found was lamictal and Xypraxa. The former, I’ve noticed, caused me some weird vivid dreams at first but that mostly went away. It also makes it impossible to cry. The Xypraxa worked wonders for anxiety too, but unfortunately caused me dystonia so I had to stop taking it. It might be worth a try for you, just monitor carefully for the unusual muscle movements - especially eye movements. If it happens, take Xanax and get off Xypraxa.

They said I had "bipolar tendencies" when I was in 2nd grade, am almost 30 now. I've been on a tooooon of meds throughout my life and most have helped for a bit(I metabolize em fast apparently). If you need any advice, just ask ❤️
