New to Alike, Diagnosed with ADHD and Possible Autism
hi, I'm new to Alike, I was diagnosed with ADHD back when I needed therapy for my alcohol addiction, it was then that my therapist noticed I was easily distracted during a mental exercise and then I got screened. no specific diagnosis because I also show symptoms of High functioning Autism but I'm far too afraid to get tested.

Nice! I moved to a new state since my diagnosis so I've been struggling to get diagnosed for this state and with Adderall I just was a robot, no emotions or empathy so I've been needing more study done for better meds

Heyyyy. I was diagnosed with ADHD back in 2018. I assumed it's something I had due to executive dysfunction and lack of focus. For a while, finding the right meds and dosage was hard but now I do really well on Adderall.
