I am on Medicaid as well and it is hard to find a good provider that works well with you. I will say my last primary was not comfortable prescribing both my adderall and klonopin together so he sent me to there office psychiatrist who basically just had me come in bi monthly to talk briefly about meds and how I was doing and there was no problem ever. This was a Local Medicaid based facility

My primary will prescribe it so I guess I will stick with her and find a therapist.

It's hard to find a psych that takes Medicare and Medicaid. I am on disability.

I’ve been through 3 different primary doctors since I’ve been on the medication and they’ve all kept me on it. Have you tried looking for another doctor, he/she may be strict on control substances.

I was prescribed at my first apt for anxiety/depression by a new doctor. It has worked well for me long term. I’ve been on it for 4 + years. I don’t feel it’s addicting. I was originally prescribed 3 a day and told my next primary I didn’t need that much. So I have been on 2 daily and some days I only take one. There have also been days I don’t use it at all so that’s why I feel it’s not addicting.

Some new med. She said new meds are better. I say stick with what's working. I have changed anti-depressants before with bad results I dont like to change what is working.
