Looking for a new prescription NSAID for chronic pain

I have HSD and I'm anticipating an official diagnosis of hEDS in the next couple weeks. In addition I have a fibromyalgia diagnosis. My doctor just lowered my dosage of ibuprofen because she's worried about long term effects. I've tried 3 prescription NSAIDs and had issues with them. I want to try a different prescription NSAID but don't know what to ask for. Does anyone have any recommendations? Sulindac, flurbiprofen, and diclofenac didn't work.

I take methocarbamol (muscle relaxer) instead as daily NSAIDS were making me throw up bile. I’ll only use 600mg of ibuprofen if I’m really sure it’s inflammation getting me. In other news… do your joints feel like they’re being pulled apart because one set of connective tissue doesn’t want to move and the other moves too much? Because ✋

they do feel like that sometimes and it suuuuucks. I ended up being put on meloxicam which is 10 times better than ibuprofen. I also finally resorted to using cannabis again and that's been helping quite a bit. It sounds like your hypermobility may be EDS. 😔 wishing you luck with doctors and accuracy with their treatment and diagnoses!
