What to Expect When Taking a New Medication?

Had to call into my psych's office for a medication, and this med is what they are planning on giving me. What should I expect when taking this?

Xanax works will for me. Definitely calms me and anxiety is almost non existent. I sleep very well with it also so I take it almost nightly at minimum as per how it’s ordered.

Yes, helps me a lot when I’m super panicking. It literally tells your brain to slow down and you feel calm. It works well. Doesn’t change who you are. Makes you realize your body and mind was overreacting.
