The problem I have is there is so much good food! I solve it by allowing myself to have one really good meal once a week. I don’t call it a “cheat” meal either. I enjoy it fully. Then do better the next day. What y’all think about that?

I am a 72% match with you. I am disabled and having trouble myself because of mobility problems. I wish there was a magic weight loss pill that worked, but all available meds have adverse effects with my other medications.

@Dad.of.Many the doctor recently put me on trulicity ( a injection once a week) I have to say it’s totally cut my appetite. I am amazed!

@Georgiabased513 that does sound like a good plan. I like to take one of my favorite foods, like pizza, and put each slice in a freezer bag and freeze it. Then now and then when I get a craving, I take one slice out and heat and eat it with some extra veggies or a salad. That way I satisfy my craving and don't go on a pizza binge later. I've lost 12 pounds so far doing this and don't feel as hungry all the time.

@Dad.of.Many Putting a slice away and then having it later is a great idea. Congratulations on the weight loss as well. How does losing that weight make you feel about yourself?

accomplished! Makes me want to keep going. If I can stay in that mindset and not give up it'll be good! I like your name! lived in Georgia for almost 20 years. Worked for BellSouth Real Yellow Pages 15 yrs till AT&T bought them out.

It’s great to feel accomplished. Sounds like you have the right recipe for your health. You lost 12 pounds which is awesome. How much more would you like to lose for the month of July? I’ve been in GA for a few years. Love it. Lol. Haven’t heard about “Yellow Pages” in awhile.
