i walked out of the first appointment with a new cardiologist today. she decided to tell me that i didn’t have pots regardless of the hours of tests that are on file in my chart. im getting worse and worse. i’ve spent 14 days inpatient at the hospital this month and she didn’t even bother to pull up my chart. i thought once all the testing was over i’d get help. how do you guys deal with this?

@mabelshuman the medical field is becoming increasingly more frustrating for people with chronic issues. Everyone is expected to just be super healthy with a perfect body. I work as a first responder and I pick up a lot of patients who could have avoided it if they had been taken seriously. Same with myself. Its frustrating.
I understand! It took me 3 years and moving states before someone acknowledged that I had POTS. Despite all the very obvious symptoms.
