Give me all of your neuropathy information. When I stand for long periods of time, when I come home from work, when I touch the unheated ice cold floor with my feet, it hurts, burns, and feels numb all at the same time. It even burns on the ice cold floor. When I take off my shoes in the cold unheated areas, my feet are in so much pain I don't even know how to describe it. The sweat from my socks after working all day makes the cold unbearable, and the pain will often have me screaming and crying. This is becoming an almost daily occurrence except SOME of my days off.
For a while I was told I was pre-diabetic, then I was told I showed no signs of prediabetes or diabetes anymore and this foot issue has been there for years, since my first job at 17. My dad was diabetes type 1 my mom was diabetes type 2, and I am teetering on the line of type 2 at last check. I am on metformin for hypothyroidism, and something else that I can't remember, but I know it helps with diabetes things because that's what they put me on when they told me I had pre-diabetes.
I also have a long history of repeated physically traumatic ankle injuries that the years old evidence of which can still be seen on x-rays, continuously spraining my ankles like it was an actual problem how often I sprained my ankles as a child and teen, and overly sensitive feet that I could never walk on gravel or non grassy land without legitimately crying my entire life.
Does this sound like neuropathy? If not, what does it sound like? Any help?
