does anyone know what happens at a neurologist appointment? i’ve got an appointment tomorrow but i just don’t know what to expect

      @abi07x of course you can. they usually don’t tell you your weight. the appointment is just like any other appointment. if your seizures have returned, you’ll likely get a quick EEG and maybe some blood work so see where all your levels are. it’s nothing to be scared of, i look forward to EEGs because it’s a fun experience lol

      From my experience the first time, I just explained what was going on. I ended up getting upper and lower emgs. I only had one to diagnose my neuropathy.

      I have one every year because of epilepsy. None of it is scary. They'll probably take your weight and height and some vitals. You may get an EEG done which is just wires kinda stuck to your head with an adhesive that washes off in the shower. They may do some other testing as well but that's the main thing I recall from my appointments. You got this though, good luck at your appointment!

        @Mysticaluv can i ask them to not tell me my weight i’m recovering from an ed i’m guessing i can

        @Sweetpea22 no i used to have seizers when i was little they stopped for a while but since the middle of last year they came back so i’m going back to see them, i used to go a lot when i was very young but of course i don’t remember them
