My Journey with a Life-Threatening Neurological Disorder

I got my first symptoms in the end of May 2022. I have been through the worst of this neurological disorder, to include coming close to death, becoming a quadriplegic and having a tracheotomy tube Surgically installed in my neck and going septic. I had to relearn how to breath swallow, eat, sit up, and now I am learning to walk again. If you want any information on my journey please let me know.

Sounds like you got it really bad. Do you have any symptoms left today? My GBS manifested with weakness of limbs, mostly hands.

I am still working on walking, I have to use a walker when I am not at home, around the house I walk without the walker but I look like Herman Munster. My hands get numb when I pet the dogs. I don’t drive yet because I’m not confident in my feet yet. But I am getting better everyday!
