Dealing with Neurofibromatosis and Low Self Esteem

I am 47 years old and I'm wondering if my Neurofibromatosis is going to get worse as I get older? I already notice more pain and of course I constantly find new fibromas..can anyone tell me what is going on with you and how you handle the low self esteem.

I have nf2 and I had to get surgery last year because one of the tumors were making me go blind šŸ¦ÆšŸ¦® ever since then I feel insecure because I have to use a walker now and have on a belt especially if I go out it sucks to have this disease I wish they had a cure for it but things happen for a reason let's just pray that we all can make it another day or two no how about a year especially with this war that is going on right now smh šŸ™„ it also caused me to lose my hearing šŸ‘‚ so all I hear is ringing for the last past year

I feel you on that and as I've gotten older it has progressed and I don't know how to deal with it. I've been through 2 stage 5 cancers. Still trying to find my way through this.
