Struggling with a new diagnosis

I've recently learned of my neurodivrgents and it has hit me like a wall. It's strange to come to terms with the fact that my mind is like the expensive multi-verse. I've always been told I'm just lazy and that I make up that fact that I forget but now it's different. I can't tell if it's a good different. Does anyone have tips to come to terms with a diagnosis?

I recommend talking with your doctor or provider about your diagnosis and asking for credible sources online to learn more about neurodivergency.
