Struggling with Negative Blood Test Results and Fibro/Hypermobility Diagnosis

Anyone here had a rough time getting diagnoses because their blood tests kept coming back “normal” or “negative”? Especially anyone who’s also diagnosed with fibro and hypermobility?

My blood results came back negative first, ANA was the only positive result. I insisted to do them again, and 6 months later most of them were positive

Yes definitely!!! However if the crazy drs have you on the meds for the autoimmune disorders then would that not produce a negative result? I keep telling my dr this. I’m so frustrated with the healthcare system I could scream!!! Anyone else get negative ANA test for lupus? I think this should not be the main test they base things on. The insurance companies are using this test as a basis to deny medicine to those who really need it for lupus or fibromyalgia. It’s twisted and sad.
