Navigating MPN Diagnosis: My Frustrating Journey

Hi!! I’m 38 year old female and I’m looking for direction on how to navigate this super fun disease! :🤓 I’ve survived a couple strokes including a MASSIVE CVST and PE, TIA’s, and too many hospital visits to count. You name a symptom- I have it. I apparently was diagnosed with MPN 2 years ago, and nobody ever told me until last week about it!! Hello!! I was trying to figure out why I was dying for 2 years, thinking it was all my fault as my life turned into a dumpster fire, and not a single one of the dozens of doctors I saw cared to mention I had blood cancer. Anyways!! I’m about to start Hydrea but I’m naturally feeling insecure about my doctors at the moment. I’m hoping educating myself and talking with others will boost my confidence💪! Can you help? Holy cow, I need you! 😁 What’s something I should know?
