I'm in my mid-twenties and working out how to navigate life while facing health issues that aregetting worse and which doctors can't agree on and/or identify. My most frustrating health issues are the unspecified T-Cell mediated autoimmune disease and the neurological issues that may be FND or may be a more serious problem. With that said I feel like EDS is to blame for the majority of my issues since the other conditions I have are very common comorbidities with vEDS & hEDS. I don't actually know if I have vEDS or if it's hEDS with vascular crossover which is frustrating but wouldn't change my treatment plan. I have a Saint Bernard Service Dog in Training who I am owner training; in addition to training him I spend much of my time metalsmithing and creating other types of art. My goals career wise are to one day train service dogs professionally and to make the majority of my income selling art and teaching classes. I'm always listening to cozy mystery audio books because they make me happy. I also occasionally listen to podcasts and YouTube videos. I've joined alike in hopes of feeling less isolated. What made you decide to join?

@Pisces2022 spoons is essentially a theory or idea that people who don’t have serious medical issues have more spoons than those of us that do, or that it takes us more spoons to do the same things it takes them only 1-2 spoons to do. You can easily google the spoons theory or go to mollyparkerpt on instagram and she has a instagram reel that essentially explains it in a different way where we are containers but those of us who have medical issues are smaller containers than those without so by the time a person in each group does 5 things the one in the medical issues group is “full” while the healthy one has tons more room- essentially saying that it takes us more to do the same thing as healthy people and we don’t have the capacity to do the same number of things so we have to be conscious of what we do choose to spend our energy on

It's really late where I'm at and I'm low on spoons but I really wanted to just say I relate to you a lot and I want to come back and respond to you when I'm more awake.
