I’m 19 with 12+ chronic conditions. (Some medical some psychiatric). I’ve never met a single person with as many chronic illnesses. Nobody understands what it’s actually like. It’s so difficult navigating it all, taking all my meds, and seeing improvement with any bc there’s so much to deal with. How do u guys deal with the day to day life thing when there’s so you have to deal with and suffer through that nobody else seems to understand? All of my illnesses are invisible and everybody just assumes I’m a simple over dramatic teenage girl, despite rarely talking about any of my conditions. It’s just sooooo hard to manage, how do y’all do it? Do any of you have as many conditions as I have? I often don’t even know what’s causing what which makes treatment/improvement near impossible.

Oh BABY you should take a look at my list lmao. It's ROUGH and the literal burnout from being alive is intense. How am I supposed to work at a job when I'm already my own nurse, medical administrator and advocate, AND an expert in my rarer conditions? I already have a job, it just doesn't pay me in anything but allowing me to live another day, and unfortunately being alive doesn't pay the bills

I understand having some conditions. It would go a long way to really research each condition you have. Take notes to your doctors and address each issue as you go. Maybe pinpoint your most pressing conditions and address those first and foremost. Alot of times chronic issues have their roots in inflammation and the immune system. I would start there. 💕🙏
