Does anyone else get extremely nauseous during panic attacks or anxiety episodes? I’ve noticed whenever I’m distressed that I violently gag and cough and I’m concerned.

It's normal to a point, you have a heighten fight or flight response that's what I was told, I always called it stress induced Anorexia.

Yes!! I get most anxious when waking up and I will start to cough and eventually gag. Sometimes the gagging gets so bad I’ll throw up. I really thought I was the only one this happened to!! Glad to know I’m not alone.

@Vicky3033 That’s a relief to know I’m not the only one. It’s been happening for a while and it got so bad for a while I thought I had ARFID then I noticed it happened whenever I got triggered into a panic attack or something similar.

@Modris yes and it’s so annoying/embarrassing to have to deal with it in front of people.
