Besides medication, is there any way I can help decrease stress or depressive episodes? any herbal remedies or things to do to help. I know lots of sun and going outside helps, but other than that, any recommendations for a hermit like me?

Skullcap leaf tea helps alot for me personally. It's very relaxing and strong like a sedative, one cup before bed and I sleep through the night. I mix it in with green tea and honey because it is planty lol I tried chamomile and lavender tea before bed but it didn't work as well as the skullcap did

What I do during my episodes is go on nightly (12am/2am)walks through the neighborhood usually barefoot to feel grounded. It also helps with appreciating little things around you, like ants, birds, flowers, etc. For the hermit thing, I take 5 hour long baths when I’m especially stressed, while watching movies and add little things for myself, like candles, bath bombs, incense, or face masks. Main thing is take a break treat yo’ self. 💅

Lavender essential oils on your temples and inside of your wrists, adult coloring books, warm drinks (such as tea or hot cocoa) and listening to your preferred kind of music
