Sometimes I find it at drugstores but other times I can only find it in blends (melatonin and l-theanine but that's only good for sleep, or Walgreens has a stress relief gummy vitamin that includes l-theanine)

Hi there! I've had a lot of success with acupuncture helping me with anxiety and (self-diagnosed) PTSD. It also helps control my migraines and I get relief from most other weird symptoms I have too.

I have had a lot of luck with l-theanine, though I think it's not good for certain medical conditions so check before trying it. I also agree with meditation (I've had a practice for years) although depending on how severe your anxiety is, mindfulness meditation can be harmful in some cases. Other types of meditation like chanting/mantra meditation are more helpful for me when my anxiety is very bad.

There are supplements that can help but your environment should reflect your desire for tranquility. GABA, VALERIAN, KAVA, MAGNESIUM, are a few that you can try. Meditation is also helpful.

Hi! Do you like essential oils or candles? The scents from the oils and the light of the candle flame calm me when my anxiety/PTSD is especially bad.

@WildCarnelian yes I love candles. I have not really gotten into essential oils. What kind do you suggest?

@Luna_girl19XX I use lavender oil the most. It helps calm me down when I have anxiety and before I go to bed. I also like lemon or any kind of citrus scent for the mornings. Bergamot, tea tree, spruce, and peppermint are also very good.💜
