Is there anyone here taking Naltrexone for their joint pain? Even though Naltrexone is used to prevent relapses into alcohol or drug abuse. My Doctor put me on it because it temporarily blocked the MU receptors which is linked to pain.

One user mentioned that they started taking naltrexone for their fibromyalgia and found it super helpful. They were later diagnosed with sjogrens so it's unclear what it’s helping, maybe both. Another user stated that they take naltrexone for possible nerve damage and it works for them. When they tried going off it once under doctor's orders, their symptoms came back right away, so they've still been taking it nightly.
