So it’s to balance your immune system, not improve it. My doctor is wanting to try it with me because insurance won’t approve anything for me.

Yes, they act like they have medical degrees. It’s unfortunate because the hisentra was helping me. I have 3 doctors fighting to get me back on it. I’ve had chronic infections the last few months, so the one doctor is trying anything to help me.

In low doses Naltrexone is supposed to help with chronic pain that many with CVID have, but had to find an MD who understands low dosing.

Yes, fortunately I have a great doctor. And yes it is low dose. I should be getting it sometime this week. Fingers crossed, I have been having a lot of gut issues for over a month now, hopefully it improves.

I can’t tell whether or not I’m having a fybro flare up, a POTS flare up, or an Epstein Barr flare up. The symptoms are all so similar, it drives me nuts. The low dose Naltrexone is working so far, slight improvement in my colon, have to get a blood test to check the immune levels. It doesn’t really help with the pain. Gabapentin does, but then I get constipated from it. Just want something work!

my daughter has POTS and were trying LDN. I thought it was helping bit lots of gastro pain again. Have you had all the gastro testing done? Hers is all ‘normal’ yet chronic pain and chronic diarrhea. Is that from POTS?

I've tried low dose Naltrexone... didn't make any difference that I saw.
