Has anyone tried low-dose naltrexone for chronic pain?

Has anyone taken low-dose naltrexone for nerve pain, mast cell activation syndrome or hEDS and found relief? If so have you had any bad side effects or found it helpful? I’m supposed to start it for all of the above.

I had better success with it when I took 60 mg daily but I do well with LDN as well. I wish it was easier to get.

I take it for my back pain which is either nerve or eds (or both) related. I have a high pain tolerance and I was literally crying at night before starting it. I still have bad pain some days but there are also days where my back doesn’t hurt at all. It’s incredible. But if I miss one dose the pain comes back almost immediately, at least I know it works that well. I haven’t noticed any side effects. I don’t know how/if it would help MCAS. I technically don’t have MCAS (or at least they can’t diagnose it as that) but I’m allergic to almost everything and it definitely hasn’t gotten better since starting LDN, it’s actually gotten worse. I highly doubt LDN caused that though.
