i began recovery months ago. when i entered recovery i was terribly suicidal and that was the only reason i chose to get help. i had some goals that kept me from fully wanting to die. the beginning was rough both physically and emotionally. so so so much physical pain and tears and arguing with family. however it gets better. it sounds cheesy but it DOES get better. i do not regret recovering one bit. even though it has been difficult and i'm still barely close to even being fully recovered, my quality of life has dramatically improved. it's hard to believe and easy to ignore recovery stories. but i am telling the truth. i still struggle a lot and have moments of relapse and daily raging mental wars but at least now i'm not fighting this alone. hang in there everyone.

I'm glad your still here. 🤗. It's difficult but I'm glad you've found a little more enjoyment then you did before going into treatment.

@PhoenixDown2334 thank you. i am beyond grateful that i chose this route over continuing to listen to the voice of anorexia
