My Journey with Chronic Illness: A Personal Story

Well here we go, I was having urinating problems back in July of this month. Foam in the urine, got it tested turns out I was leaking protein. I went to ER because I got concerned one day when I was urinating literally droplets the entire day. The doctors there diagnosed me with nephrotic syndrome. But they had to find the underlying cause through a kidney biopsy. The biopsy results showed that lupus antibiotic were “mildy attacking my kidneys” now I haven’t been fully diagnosed with lupus but they believe there a chance I might have it because it runs in my family. Anyways just wanted to share that bit. I’m going to start seeing a rheumatologist soon, get more answers. But all of this is pretty scary to go through. I’ve been wanting to listen to other peoples experiences cause this can feel so lonely in real life. I truly wish chronic illness didn’t exist. I just hope everyone here has a safe journey and everyone here has a good day and restful day 🫶
