Muscle Spasms and Epilepsy: Are They Related?

does anyone else get muscle spasms - that are different from twitches? is this related to epilepsy? (I can feel my muscle spasming, and it lasts a few seconds to a minute - it doesn't make my leg move when I feel it there, so it's different than a twitch)

Hey I've been having the same thing in my neck that happens like every now and then I was wondering what was going on with that because I have seziures epilepsy also too

Yes, and extended muscle spasms become painful. This is usually related to emotional strain with me, but I cannot answer your question about epilepsy
