Need tips for relieving muscle knots in my shoulder

I have had really bad muscle knots in my shoulder for years, and it’s getting worse these days. Anybody have any at home tips? I have a feeling my doctor is just going to send me to physical therapy and I don’t hav le the money for that right now.

What has helped me lost is regular (like multiple times of day) deep stretching, rubbing muscles myself to get blood flowing, I also have a massage gun that helps for knots etc and I really want to get a muscle point type cane thing la someone mentioned above!! Because working your pressure points helps so much!! Also.. Kratom!! There are many diff kinds that offer diff effects etc but the red Bali has been the strain works best for pain relief for me. Ahh mazing!! It’s like a wave of relaxation over my body!

Not sure if you have one nearby or if your insurance will cover it, but look up Airrosti!! Its like a deep tissue massage but more direct for pain relief. Fair warning it hurts sooo bad when they do it but the relief you feel right after is incredible

The muscle hook is great! I also sit on heating pads for my knots, and have a massage gun (you can get those for like $40)

Have you used a muscle hook? I got one at target and it helps me a lot! I bet you can also find some YouTube videos that would work you through some of what a PT would do, which might be helpful!
