I'm having a hard time being motivated in even the smallest things, like taking a shower brushing my teeth. I'm just wondering if anyone else has that same issue and how you've overcome it?

Over the counter supplements like 5-ht magnesium and vitamin d help so I schedule myself to take those when I feel like this. Allow yourself grace and let your feelings fall where they may. Good luck
Girl, same. I haven't overcome it. All I know is my therapist said apathy is a sign that it's time to pick a goal to work on.

@SammyNova That's an amazing piece of advice. Thank you!
@MrsDrLimitless I'm taking vitamin D, but haven't thought about magnesium and allowing myself grace is one of the hardest things I need to do, so thank you. I will work on that.

Definitely have had those issues, and though maybe this is unhealthy or stupid, I kind of “glorify” them, like how when we were kids we would pretend to be a in a music video when looking out the car window. Pretending I’m okay or in a movie or some shit helps some days if it’s not too bad
@Myobliss I like that idea, thank you.
