How to Motivate Yourself When You'd Rather Do Something Else

Does anyone have any recommendations for how to motivate yourself to do something when all you want to do is something else? for example I currently have homework I need to do because it's due tonight but there's some room work organization I want to do

Use the thing u want to do as a reward for doing the thing u don’t want to do.

Focus on small tasks, and work your way up to bigger tasks - motivation to study is one of the things I struggle most with, try and break down your homework into smaller bits and focus on getting through those smaller tasks, it can sometimes help build momentum and make the task seem less daunting :) good luck!! :))

Sometimes if I’m so de-motivated to do a certain task then I just have to give in a do something else first. And then I’m more likely to do the original task
