How do I motivate myself to get up out of bed sooner? I snooze my alarm several times and almost late for work!

I set 2 or 3 alarms. The first one is annoying and breaks me out of deep sleep but I still get to fall back asleep and relax then I have another a half hour later that wakes me from light sleep then sometimes I set another one to just lay down and stare at the wall for another 5-10 minutes. That way I wake up on time but I woke up over the course of 45 minutes so my body and brain had time to collect themselves before I forced them to be functional. This method is rage inducing for my friends that can’t fall back asleep after the first alarm but for us snoozers it’s a much more pleasant way of getting the day started on time. That being said I still hate waking up before 6:00 regardless of how many alarms I set.

Have 1 thing that I do right in the morning that I really want to do. Tbh having to pee really helps too.
I have anxiety about being late for work so I make up a time in my head that’s the latest I can wake up and not be late and then I also set like 20 alarms before then so yeah I also have a terrible morning routine 😅 I think if I was able to fall asleep earlier then it would be easier to wake up. Maybe try working on a night time routine? I used a sun lamp for a little while in the winter - some of them u can schedule to turn on at a certain time in the morning and it helps u wake up like natural sunlight! I’ve had trouble waking up since I was a kid and I remember my parents bought me this alarm clock and it was so loud it sounded like a fire alarm! I couldn’t use it in college since I had roommates it’s terrible but definitely works for emergency situations LOL
Even if you set an alarm for a specific time, don’t get up right away. Instead, lay down for a couple of minutes and let yourself actually wake up naturally. Because if you were to get up right away you’d feel groggy throughout the day and that’s just terrible because then you get moody etc.
I GET it my friend but unfortunately I do not have answers either. I hope you find something that works for you💕

Idk... Im the same way... Alarm goes off at 5... I snooze till 5:45... Arugghhh Sorry im no help! 😒
@SWGent59 good to know I'm not alone.
Get out of bed
It's a big commitment but my dog gets me out of bed in the morning. She jumps all over me until I get out of bed lol. Even something as simple as a hamster or fish could be a good starting point. I find having to care for something else gives me a reason to be out of bed at a decent time
