Caffeine is an addiction I agree. But, if you can push past that first rough week. You will be thankful. At first I drank decaf with the same crappy creamer n sugar (didn't want to drop all the fun stuff at once). I did the bare minimum with chores. It did help that zi like to batch cook so all our meals were already prepared. Then from there just follow your same routine. This was a few years ago. Now, only once in a blue moon will I drink a half cup of Jo. Can't handle more then that I get the gutters and BP shots up. Hope this helps.

@Ena how do you avoid caffeine and still manage to feel awake enough during the day to get anything done? This is a struggle for me!

I have noticed if I stay away from gluten, nightshades, sugar, caffeine and all processed foods I feel 100% better. But, I wouldn't have known that if I didn't do AIP.

Agreed, I follow the paleo diet and have seen a big improvement (no dairy, no grains)

I have a moderate allergy to whey and casein. I’m still hypothyroid but my antibodies are not there anymore

Going dairy free for two years put me in remission 🤷🏼‍♀️
