Morning Mucous: What's Going On?

I cough up Mucous every morning, not sure what triggers it

Are you congested at all in your sinuses? Have allergies? If so it may be settling in the back of your throat at night.

I do but because I have postnasal drip. I was told that it was normal

I also have post nasal drip and cough up mucus every morning. I don't see that this can be normal I have dealt with it for almost 5 years so I understand but can't offer much advise as I am still trying to figure it out.
