Im still confused why its so hard to get help for Borderline?? I had a very rare cancer and was seeing a counceler, (after two back to back surgeries,) for "depression" because i would Freak out all the time, tell my children i hated them, fall apart crying over stupid things. Couldnt pull myself together. I had a psych eval ordered by DSHS to see if i qualified for a housing program. They diagnosed the Bpd. Said to tell my counseler the that DBT would help me. I told her, she said, no you dont have that. They dont know what you have bern through. I went to omprehensive mental health, tgey also diag. Me with depression. Refused to address or treat the Bpd. I have read so much about it, it explains my whole life..

I exain my BPD as like bi-polar, only my ups and downs go back and forthto the extremes all day long. Drs put me on anti depressants....ask how they are working? Idk, because everything around me effects me.. the littlest things bring me such happiness. My kids ssy i act like a little kid, then the smallest thing goes wrong, i'm Sobbing uncontrollably and want to die. Because i cant cope with the pain

It’s almost the main trait of BPD. I have random rage episodes for no reason or over really small things. It lasts a long time but then afterwards it’s like it never happened, then it starts again.

That is definitely happening with me. I'm nearly 54 and was not diagnosed BPD until my late 40s. I've had no therapy since this diagnosis and delved into self study. Now that I'm having an episode, I'm seeing the "Emotional Disregulation." It's what no one in my family understands. It's what I've never understood as a disorder. I thought it was the norm for everyone to feel so deeply, to feel so raw. I had no idea that was a symptom of a disorder which I have. Okay...I'm learning slowly. πŸ’šβœŒπŸΌπŸ•‰

It is a symptom of borderline personality disorder. You can see it acting out by amber heard in her current trial. She was diagnosed with bpd. She often goes through waves of emotions

I don't know if it's normal or not but I'm in the same situation. My mood is all over the place and it can change in a moments notice. My doctor now says that he now thinks I have bipolar on top of borderline personality disorder. So that may explain it.
