Anxiety (Including GAD)

When you’ll forget of having anxiety, you’ll know you’re at the beginning of progression. Gradually, you’ll have wider and wider intervals between panic attacks. Then you’ll know you’re on the road. Good luck!! 😊
In times when my condition gets worse I feel that the symptoms are more frequent- I feel on edge, unable to control my worries and unable to relax several days in a row. During that one time I had a severe anxiety attack, I also suffered from depression, had to quit my job and had feelings of panic most of the time.
It's different for everyone, but typically you start to notice things happening as soon as 2 weeks after beginning a medicine. You'll wake up one morning, and by the evening you'll realize you haven't had a panic attack, etc. Your sleep will improve, and ultimately you won't feel "happy" per se in the sense of joyousness, but you will feel like you can be happy. You will start to enjoy the little things just a little bit more. It does take time though, and the first few weeks on a med can actually be worse than before you started. Just have patience and communicate with your healthcare provider.
