Introducing Myself: A Mom with Chronic Illness

I rarely have the energy to go out and do much of anything, outside of doctors appointments, as well. POTS is probably the illness that effects me the most. It's depressing, tbh.

I'm relatively new here, too, and am in a similar boat. I'm not a parent (I live with my mom who has a lot of emotional needs), but I usually only leave the house once a week other than appointments. I try to reward myself for appointments with something small. And I'm working on getting out more.

Hello there!! I’m pretty much in the same boat. I’m struggling to get my adult children to be more understanding with my health issues. I have multiple diagnoses and actually just qualified for disability. My husband is great but my kids act like it’s all in my head. It’s so hurtful and frustrating! Do you have a lot of family support?
