Mixing Wellbutrin and Alcohol: Safe or Not?

I just started wellbutrin 100mg yesterday and I am currently tapering off lexapro. Does anyone have experience with having a few alcoholic drinks while taking wellbutrin? I'm going to a pool party tomorrow and wondering if I could have a few beers safely.

I’ve been on Wellbutrin 19 years and no issues w drinking.

I've been on wellbutrin for 20 yrs and have had no problems with drinking while taking it. I have had a bad reaction to a med and alcohol combined, so I know the difference. I just had 2 shots of tequila last night and I'm fine.😁

I'm not a doctor, so keep that in mind - from my experience, I have had no issues or noticeable differences with Wellbutrin and alcohol.

thanks love. My doctor didn't mention for me to avoid it and he does know that I occasionally like to have a few drinks on the weekends. I just wanted to see if anyone else noticed any unwanted side effects.
