Do you ever mix up your words?

Anyone just say the most random word when trying to talk about something? Like I was tryna say it’s Tuesday, but Lincoln came out instead?? And this is a constant thing with me, anyone else get this?

I think it's because your thoughts are going faster than you can process/say things. Like sometimes someone will say something like, "I need to go shopping!" And I'll go, "That reminds me, I wonder how Chris Rock is doing!" Those things don't connect to the person I'm talking to, they look at me like I have 3 heads. But what my brain did was: Shopping, I need to do that too! Last time I went I passed the gardening section. Too bad I kill all my plants. Maybe I'll try a succulent! I'll just browse plants. Aww, this plant's called Lion's Tail. The garden section looks kind of like a Jungle. Lion's aren't in the jungle, but he was in the movie Madagascar! Such a good movie. Polka dot polka dot afro! Haha. The zebra is voiced by Chris Rock... I wonder what he's been up to! And now they're the connection, but only I know it. My brain has had that entire process in a matter of seconds. Going shopping has nothing to do with Chris Rock, but it made sense to me! 🤣

I totally get this as well. But like I’ll think of the word I need to say like say I was trying to say sour cream but like Washington or corn would come out instead even though I was thinking of sour cream idk it’s crazy lol
