So basically I missed my depo shot and I haven’t been able to get any appointments recently but while I’ve been off it I’ve felt more like myself and so much more motivated than in the year and a half I’ve been taking it, but I have really severe endometriosis and pms. What should I do?

Also I’m a minor so I can’t get any surgeries for a bit

@Gardenghost excision is performed on minors. The youngest I’ve seen thus far is 12 or 13.

"In all honesty I would consult with an endo specialist. No medication “treats” endometriosis, that’s entirely a myth. It can help manage symptoms though for some. Surgical excision of endometriosis can in some cases increase fertility and it does treat endometriosis. Go to Nancy’s Nook Endometriosis Education on Facebook - they have a lot of good info as well as a file of surgeons that are known to do EXCISION ONLY. They can also guide you on med management post operatively as well as some of them do fertility and/or know someone who can help you with your fertility journey as needed."
